Accomodation
Just a few steps across the cobbled courtyard is The Barn. Looking closely you can see that this thick walled, local limestone building was originally single storey and housed animals. A pig trough is still in place on the external wall. Many years ago another level was added to The Barn and the roof was clad in slate at the front and stone tiles (now very hard to come by) at the rear.

Our four en suite rooms: Anvil, Swage, Bellows and Forge are within The Barn. The rooms are quietly and sympathetically decorated. Double iron beds and comfortable mattresses promise a restful night. Three of our en suites have showers and Bellows en suite has a power shower fitted over the bath. Comfort and space make The Barn a pleasant, private and peaceful retreat, where you can come and go as you please.
The rooms have all the extras that you might expect and perhaps one or two more. A fridge is available with wine and glasses close by!
Anvil and Swage are ground floor rooms, floored in reclaimed douglas fir and overlooking fields, animals and in the distance Stanedge Grange. Bellows and Forge are first floor, carpeted and beamed rooms, with east and west facing windows, as well as glazed slit windows.
